Roger J. Penner, B.Sc. (Geol.)
President, C.E.O., C.F.O. & Director

Mr. Penner, a native Calgarian, has over 25 years of technical and managerial experience in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Mr. Penner has been the President of Drake Pacific Enterprises Ltd. since 2001. Prior to his work with DPE, Mr. Penner was a Senior Geologist and Senior Vice President with Nu-Sky Energy Inc. from 1995 – 2003. Mr. Penner also held technical roles at Sceptre Resources Ltd., Oakwood Petroleum’s Ltd. and other prominent oil and gas companies.

Mr. Penner graduated from the University of Calgary in 1980 with a BSc. in Geology.

Neil Orr, BSc., M.B.A.
Vice – President, Business Development & Director

Mr. Orr has over twenty years of managerial and executive experience in a wide range of industries. Most recently, Mr. Orr was Vice President of Operations for Macon Resources Ltd., a Calgary-based oil and gas company. Some of Mr. Orr's previous positions include Project Manager, Budget and Planning, Head Office, Royal Dutch Shell, Netherlands, President of www.stormplay.org, Vice President Operations, Inuvialuit Development Corporation, and a Chief of Finance, United Nations, Ethiopia.

Mr. Orr has a B.Sc. in Mathematical Sciences / Chemistry from the University of Alberta and an M.B.A. from the University of Alberta (partnered with the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration).

Chris Bradley, CA.
Vice – President, Finance & CFO

Mr. Bradley is the former President of Macon Resources Ltd., a Calgary-based company which works with junior oil and gas companies. Mr. Bradley has over thirty years of managerial and executive experience in the oil and gas industry with particular emphasis on finance. He has been employed with both large and small companies and has done extensive financial consulting in the industry.

Barry Reid, P.Eng
Vice – President, Operations

Mr. Reid is the former President of RML Energy Inc, and Savant Energy Ltd., two successful private E&P companies. Mr. Reid has over twenty-five years of experience throughout western Canada in the oil and gas industry and has worked for Renaissance, Husky, Chauvco Resources, Amoco and Dome Petroleum in increasing roles of responsibility as an exploitation engineer.

Sandra Towpich, B.A.
Vice – President, Corporate Secretary & Director

Mrs. Towpich, who has been with DPE since its inception, has been appointed to the various roles of Assistant Corporate Secretary in 1994, Director in 1998, Vice President in 1999 and Corporate Secretary in 2005. Mrs. Towpich, who is also the President of a private consulting company providing management services to clients since 1998, currently dedicates one hundred percent of her time to DPE, fulfilling management and administrative duties.

Faye Taggart, B.Sc.
Land Manager

Ms. Taggart brings 28 years of oil and gas land management experience to Drake Pacific.

She has held key positions in numerous major oil companies including Crestar Energy, Talisman Energy Inc, and Encana Corporation and executive land positions with Elkwater Resources, Entrada Energy, Bonanza Oil & Gas, Bracknell Resouces, and Pensionfund Energy Resources Ltd. She has gained extensive management experience in multiple disciplines, including Acquisitions & Divestitures, Corporate Mergers, Negotiations and acting on the Advisory Committee on Land Systems.
